Point of Sale
The POS system includes the Cash Register linked to the system catalogue. You can process your inventory using touch screen custom buttons, the keyboard, or using the Bar Code Scanner.
Use the system for Sales and stock Returns. The fully conducted sale would register the Sale order (Cash Sale) and modify the inventory amount as well as update the balances of Cash, Inventory and Tax Accounts in the Chart of Accounts. Run all your sales and then (at the end of the day, or at any time) just press the button - all information is passed to Accounting: the transactions are created and all the money values updated. Easy, isn't it?
And what if a mistake and the actual amount of cash received is different from the amont in the system? - You can adjust the figures, by recording the discount on the transaction.
The system also can be used for recording the new stock (not yet registered in the catalogue) and producing the Bar Code Labels for the particular stock items;
Depending on configuration, upon completion of the sale, the system can open the print the receipt and open the cash drawer.
