Comprehensive Business Management System
The system
provides integrated
control of sales, production, catalogue and
inventory management as well as Accounting, CRM and planning facilities.
The B2B module supports electronic exchange of information between the trading partners (Customers and Suppliers).
The system supports:
Electronic exchange of catalogue and order information;
Preparing and maintenance of stock
catalogue;
Maintenance of the inventory records
for several locations, including alerts, when the stock level falls below
the threshold;
Maintenance of trading partners
information with the references to orders in progress for each business
partner;
Maintenance of different types of orders;
Integration with multiple Points of
Sale;
Integration
with accounting
packages (Quicken, MYOB), the order information is downloaded to accounting package upon
completion of the order;
Bar code scanning and printing;
The system supports different authorisations and user roles needed to
conduct the particular steps within a workflow based on the user role.
This module is used to maintain product and product group information.
Information for each item in the catalogue may be presented
both in concise and in the complete form.
The system supports internal and Standard
Inventory codes (up to 30 characters in length). Suppliers
stock codes stored in the system can be used in the Purchase
Orders.
Unlimited number of prices for each inventory item.
Pricing tables allows the user to record specific prices for
the different market areas, specify the reasons for price
change, price start date, price end date, special prices
for different trading partners and much more.
Apart from the Product and Price summary, for each product,
the system maintains Packaging and Dimension information,
Packaging Configuration, Pallet Configuration and Specs,
Ordering and Country Information, Allowances and Charges
Information, Tax, Hazardous Information and Product related
Dates.
The system supports creation of separate catalogues
for the different trading partners. The common catalogue
structure includes Product Groups, and Catalogue Items,
reporting facility as well as electronic exchange of the
catalogues between the trading partners (B2B). The history
of changes made in the catalogue is recorded.
The CRM module maintains the trading partner information (Customers,
Suppliers, Logistics suppliers, etc). This includes
business details, contact details, electronic trading
details. history.
The list of memos, appointments, requests and contact
history is maintained for each trading partner.
Links are provided to the list of Orders related to each Trading
Partner with indication of outstanding, fulfilled and
paid orders.
The subsystem allows the user to conduct the standard order
processing steps for purchasing, sales, stock transfers
and POS orders. Business Rules determine whether the
order will go through an approval workflow process or
be processed immediately (quick orders). The system
includes extensive search facility
Orders can be received by the system electronically
or be created manually by an operator and saved in the
system. The order may be modified or cancelled with the
appropriate notification sent electronically to the Trading
Partner. Upon completion of the order, the electronic
responses can be sent to the appropriate Trading Partner.
The system maintains the full history of processing
of the order, which includes the name of the person,
who made the particular transaction
The system supports printing of Invoices and Inventory pick
lists as well as generating the invoices and sending
them to the customer in electronic form.
The system maintains current stock levels and available stock
levels; the system supports multiple storage locations
(warehouses). Future stock levels consider stock allocated
to orders, expiry of stocks, and arrival of shipments.
The system is integrated with Catalogue and Order Management
systems. However, if required, the system can be used
as a stand-alone module. This supports checking of stock
availability when orders are accepted. Upon fulfilment
of the order the amount of the inventory in stock is automatically
reduced.
A stand-alone graphical POS module comes with support for barcode
scanners, cash registry and display pole. Orders processed
at remote sales offices or retail outlets automatically
update the central inventory management module.
