Catalogue Management
V-BuS gives you a poweful Catalogue management system. Do describe your product you can use the set of predefined tables, which contains generic product and pricing information together with very specific data about packaging and dimensions, configuration, hazardous information and much more. On the top of that, you can create your own tables to keep the specific data. The data can be grouped in a way that you can expose diffrent information to the different customer or trding partner.
You can import your inventory data from MYOB and just start using it, or add more information.
Catalogue Item
Keep all stock item information in the set of predefined tabels, that includes
all inventory information as kept in MYOB, plus additional tables such as "Allowances and Charges", "Tax", "Packaging", "Customer specific pricing", to name just a few. Not enough? - What about creating product tables yourself? Create special product data tables for special customers and expose only to them.
What about the changes? - Keep the record of all the changes conducted, such as changes of packaging, charges or prices.
Product group
Group the similar products together; display the items which belong to the same group, search an item within the group, as well as alphabetically.
Multiple Catalogues
Create multiple catalogues from the list of product groups. Add the period
when the catlogue is valid. Assign the catalogue to the customer or group of customers. You can add the custom price table to the catalogue, in this case the price automatically will be used in the order created for this customer (ulternatively the default price will be used).
Compose the different catalogues from the different item tables, that means for each inventory item in the catalogue keep in the catalogue only the information from these tables. How can I use that? - Create for instance the table with price in NSW and the table with Price in Victoria; create two catalogues, one for your customers in NSW, the other for the customers in Victoria. Add the table with NSW price table to the first catalogue and the table with Victoria prices to the second catalogue. Now you can send your catalogues your the customers or display the data on the separate web pages - you will have the list of your inventory with two different prices. The same method can be used for the models, sizes or any information you keep in the catalogue.
